Lounge and living room extension. This is more of a garden room than a conservatory; it has a solid feature lead roof keeping it low in relation to the existing first floor roof and windows.

A period style conservatory. This example has been erected to the rear of a terraced house, it is elevated above the garden and a balcony allows the occupants to move out and look at the garden from a raised level.

A sunroom with pool. A glazed enclosure can provide a cost effective solution to an indoor pool. In this example the glazed enclosure has been built on to a solid wall forming a wing and sun trap externally. The facilities are included as part of the development providing changing, sauna and WC.

Useful tips:

  • Take advice on special heat reflecting glass for south facing conservatories. Remember the costs of blinds can be significant and should be taken into account when budgeting. Blinds will be essential to south facing conservatories.
