Your Home Design Kit will help you achieve a better understanding of the home design process and can be used when designing a new home, or altering / extending.

It will encourage you to properly consider your requirements and help you make appropriate decisions.

Kit Contents/Features:

• Simple and easy to follow instructions on inside of pack cover for ease of reference (you do not need a computer)
• Check lists and illustrations helping you work out your requirements and giving you guidance on how to measure and plot your building site or your existing home (to be altered or extended).
• 4 A4 tracing paper with scale grids: 3 sheets @ 1:50 to help with room layout and 1 sheet @ 1:100/1:200 to help with site layout.
• 4 room design templates: bathroom, shower and WC; bedroom and home office; kitchen and family room; lounge, dining room and hall.
• Each template has its own scale (and conversion scale to feet) and shows door swings, wall thickness and typical furniture.
• A drawing symbols & externals template with useful information helping you appreciate the environmental factors that will affect your home design.
• Invaluable design tips for the rooms within your home.
• The pack also acts as a manual for your home proving a safe wallet for storage of insurance documents, commissioning certificates, guarantees, instructions and useful contacts.
